Welcome to the Legal + AI Summit, an event designed to connect legal professionals, innovators, and technology leaders. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and participation in our summit, website, and associated services (“Services”). By registering for or attending the Legal + AI Summit, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not register or attend.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering for, or participating in the Legal + AI Summit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any event-specific policies posted on our platform. These Terms apply to all participants, including but not limited to attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and contributors.
2. Changes to Terms
Legal + AI reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to our website or notification to registered participants. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Participants are responsible for reviewing the Terms periodically.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
3.1 Eligibility – You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to register.
3.2 Account Registration – Some Services require an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
3.3 Account Security – You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Event Participation
4.1 Event Content – Event schedules, speakers, and topics are subject to change without notice.
4.2 Tickets & Pricing – All ticket purchases are final unless otherwise stated in our refund policy. Prices may change based on availability or organizer discretion.
4.3 Refunds & Cancellations – Refund policies are stated at the time of registration. Legal + AI is not responsible for travel or accommodation costs in the event of a cancellation.
4.4 Right to Refuse Access – We reserve the right to deny entry or remove any participant for disruptive, abusive, or unlawful conduct.
5. Code of Conduct
All participants must engage respectfully and professionally. Prohibited conduct includes:
Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
Disruption of sessions or networking spaces
Impersonation of others
Distribution of false or unlawful content
Violation may result in removal from the event without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Ownership – All event materials, branding, and content are the property of Legal + AI or its licensors and may not be used without prior written consent.
6.2 User-Generated Content – By submitting content (e.g., questions, comments, chat messages), you grant Legal + AI a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use and display it in connection with the event.
7. Privacy and Data Sharing
By registering for the Legal + AI Summit, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your registration information—including your name, title, organization, and contact details—with event sponsors and partners for networking, marketing, and follow-up purposes.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how information is collected, stored, and used.
8. Speaker & Content Disclaimer
All presentations, discussions, and materials provided by speakers, sponsors, or participants represent their own views and do not constitute legal advice, nor do they necessarily reflect the views of Legal + AI Summit. Content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for legal counsel.
9. Third-Party Services
The Summit may integrate with or refer to third-party tools, applications, or services. Legal + AI is not responsible for the content, security, or practices of any third-party service.
10. Disclaimers & Warranties
The Summit and all related services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding the availability, security, or uninterrupted operation of the event platform.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legal + AI and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from:
Participation in the Summit
Use or inability to use event platforms or content
Acts of third parties or other attendees
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for your registration.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Legal + AI, its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your participation or violation of these Terms.
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Events”), including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, internet outages, or technical failures.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Legal + AI regarding your participation in the Summit and supersede any prior agreements.
